Playing guitar is not easy. It takes time, dedication, and persistence to see improvement. With private guitar lessons from Ivan, students will not only improve their skills and technique, but also everything that comes with being a musician. You’ll gain the confidence and expertise to play with other band members, and perform in front of a crowd. You’ll learn how to be a guitarist and musician.

Ivan works with students that range in age and playing ability, with the option to work with students in-person at their home or residence, or online via Zoom, WhatsApp, or Facetime:

Based in Cambridge, Ivan travels to homes and residences throughout Greater Boston to provide guitar lessons. Each lesson is an hour long. Pricing starts at $100 per hour, plus cost of travel.

Guitarist Ivan Cardozo
Ivan Cardozo is a guitarist, singer, and teacher. He has performed at venues spanning continents, with his repertoire spanning classical to Flamenco flavored smooth jazz and everything in between. Having dedicated his life to music, Ivan has been in the industry for over thirty years. Occasionally based in the States, at other times in the UK, he is perhaps best described as the true renaissance man. Ivan tempers the adventures of his career with deep study in stoic philosophy, physical fitness, and passion for all that he does.
